Dear members of the Paleoclimate and USSP community,
Over the course of the past years, several surveys, both initiated by USSP co-directors and by members of our community, have brought to light several issues that may point to violations of our code of conduct. In close collaboration with our Advisory Board, the co-directors are currently in the process of clarifying these issues, having conversations with those involved, and deciding on how to move forward.
This process takes time, partly because it requires regular conversations between colleagues with demanding agendas and located in very different time zones, but we aim to have gone through all of the reported cases early next year.
