USSP Update April 2022

Dear Community Members, This letter is to inform you of the status of the Urbino Summer School in Paleoclimatology (USSP) and to let you know about recent developments regarding the school organisation and our responses to feedback that we have received. It constitutes a follow-up to the Letter to the Community sent in December 2020.

USSP Surveys

Dear members of the Paleoclimate and USSP community, Over the course of the past years, several surveys, both initiated by USSP co-directors and by members of our community, have brought to light several issues that may point to violations of our code of conduct. Community Standards and Advisory Board

In 2021, we appointed a new Advisory Board and published new Community Standards to ensure the safety and well being of all USSP participants (students and faculty).
